UkrainianSurrogacy: Do I need to be married?

Yes. The Ukrainian government only allows traditionally married couples to undergo surrogacy. Unfortunately this does not extend to married same sex couples. On of the documents you will have to provide before you are approved into and start the surrogacy process, will be a copy of your official marriage certificate. So, it means it must be a legally registered marriage.

There is however, not minimum period for the marriage, so you can be newly married.
